StepUp Courses is an independent online comparison platform for India's online university programs. We are not a university, an EdTech provider, or a degree-granting body. We are not affiliated with any university listed on the site.
2. Acceptable use
You may use StepUp Courses to:
- Browse and compare program data for personal educational decisions
- Submit a counselling request to receive guidance from our team
- Share links to our pages on social media or with friends
You may NOT use StepUp Courses to:
- Scrape, copy, or republish our data without written permission
- Submit false information through our forms
- Attempt to disrupt or hack the website
- Use the site for any illegal purpose
3. Accuracy of information — important
We work hard to keep program fees, eligibility criteria, and other data accurate. However:
- All data is sourced from publicly available information — official university websites and the UGC-DEB database.
- Universities may revise fees, eligibility, or program structure without notice.
- You must verify all critical information directly with the university before paying any fees or making admission decisions.
- StepUp Courses is not liable for losses arising from outdated information, fee revisions, or changes in university policy.

4. Counselling service
Our counsellors offer guidance based on the data we maintain. They do not represent any university, do not guarantee admission, and cannot influence university decisions. Final admission, fee payment, and enrolment decisions rest entirely with you and the university.
5. Third-party links and websites
StepUp Courses links to official university websites and other third-party resources. We have no control over their content, privacy practices, or services. Your use of those sites is governed by their respective terms and policies.
6. Intellectual property
All content on StepUp Courses — including text, graphics, code, logos, and design — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
University logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We use them solely for identification within comparison content, under fair use principles.
7. User-submitted content
Information you submit through our forms (name, contact, course preferences) is governed by our Privacy Policy. By submitting it, you confirm the information is accurate and that you consent to be contacted regarding your enquiry.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- StepUp Courses provides the website "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Our total liability to you, for any claim, is limited to ₹1,000 (one thousand rupees)
- We are not responsible for the quality, content, or outcomes of any university program
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold StepUp Courses harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of the site, violation of these terms, or violation of any third-party rights.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you've violated these Terms or are misusing the service.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Pune, Maharashtra. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
